Seizures, blood pressure, visual and hearing disturbances. A 76-year-old woman had been suffering from seizures for ten years after experiencing a concussion. She also suffered from fluctuating blood pressure, visual disturbances, decreased hearing, abnormally wide stride and an abnormal walking pattern.

Immediately after her first chiropractic adjustment she experienced a more normal walking pattern. Within two months of care she reported a complete recovery from seizures, blood pressure stability and improved hearing (7).

A 28-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis suffered from severe neck and back pain following an injury to her neck

Chiropractic examination revealed subluxations in her spine, especially in the upper neck area. She was given a series of chiropractic adjustments to reduce her subluxations.

She reported improved sleep after her first adjustment and by her fifth visit she reported improvement in her neck and back pain and symptoms associated with multiple sclerosis. (8)

Subluxations are distortions in your body that interfere with your internal communications.

Doctors of Chiropractic locate and correct subluxations to promote improved health, healing, balance, energy and connection.

Among the ways subluxations damage your health and well-being are the following:

1. Spine and structural distortions. They can express as one leg being shorter than the other; one hip or shoulder not being in line with the other; hips being unbalanced. A distorted body causes weakness, fatigue and overall body malfunction (dis-ease).

2. Nerve interference. Your brain, spinal cord and nerves cannot send information and energy at top efficiency. You may feel pain or feel like you’re in a mental fog or both.

3. Chemical changes. This can cause inflammation of joints, ligaments, discs and bones. It can cause pain, weakness, lack of energy and dis-ease.

According to Hugh Fudenberg, M.D., the world's leading immunogeneticist and 13th most quoted biologist of our time (over 850 papers in top peer review journals), if an individual has had five consecutive flu shots his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's disease is ten times higher than if they had one, two or no shots. (4)

Dr. Fudenberg says the brain damage is due to the mercury in many flu shots (and many childhood shots). The gradual mercury buildup in the brain causes cognitive dysfunction. Is that why Alzheimer's is increasing?

Please pass on the above information to all your friends and relatives who may be pressured into getting a flu shot. It doesn’t work and it’s dangerous.

A 4½-year-old male child with learning disabilities, reduced social interaction and increased sensory stimulation behaviors presented for chiropractic care. The patient was suspected to have attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) along with his diagnosis of sensory processing disorder one-year prior.

The child was adjusted for subluxations and placed on a gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and casein-free diet. In addition, exercises were given to stimulate the patient’s sensory nerve pathways. The child experienced a decrease in outbursts, improved attention span, improved ability to focus and he began to read. (6)

A 58-year-old male with shoulder and neck pain sought chiropractic care. Past history revealed two major car accidents that involved hospitalizations. At the same time the patient had many symptoms related to his depression and anxiety, such as poor concentration, irritability, lethargy, panic attacks and heart palpitations. He scored 46 on the Beck Depression Inventory-II, which indicates severe depression.

Care was directed towards the location and correction of subluxations. The patient was seen three times per week for three months with documented improvement in quality of life. (2)

According to researchers reporting in the American Journal of Pain Management, "Posture affects and moderates every physiological function from breathing to hormonal production. Spinal pain, headache, mood, blood pressure, pulse, and lung capacity are also among the functions influenced by posture.”

“Posture especially influences respiration, oxygenation and sympathetic function. Ultimately, it appears that homeostasis and autonomic regulation are intimately connected with posture. It has been clinically observed that many symptoms, including pain, may be moderated or eliminated by improved posture." (3)

We’d like to add however that good posture is much more than remembering to “sit up straight”, “don’t hunch”, “hold your head up” and other ways of holding ourselves. Most of our posture is unconscious and is the result of how we deal with our relationship with gravity, stress, our emotions, fatigue and whether we have subluxations or not.

Because of that it is important for children (as well as adults) to have a chiropractic checkup to ensure that they grow up in balance and alignment.

Hospitals like to administer a synthetic, fat-soluble vitamin K injection to all newborns that is 100 times the daily requirement! If a mother is not malnourished, however, there is no proof that there is a vitamin K deficiency.

The vitamin K shot includes carbolic acid (a poisonous substance distilled from coal tar), propylene glycol (used as an antifreeze and in hydraulic brake fluid), formaldehyde (a cancer-causing agent used to embalm bodies), mercury (the most poisonous naturally occurring element) and benzyl alcohol.

Large doses of vitamin K are linked to childhood cancers, leukemia, jaundice and other severe reactions, including death. Animal studies link vitamin K to liver damage, kidney damage and death. Additionally, synthetic vitamin K has never been studied to see if it causes cancer or impairment of fertility.

A Lancet study reports, "We conclude that healthy babies, contrary to current beliefs, are not likely to have a vitamin K deficiency ... the administration of vitamin K is not supported by our findings...." (7)

Otitis media (ear infection). A nine-month-old boy with a history of recurring ear infections was presented by his mother for chiropractic care. The child had antibiotic therapy and the MDs were suggesting ear surgery and tubes.

Chiropractic care was actually initiated during an episode of otitis media. Cranial adjusting and sinus work along with vertebral subluxation correction was utilized and within one week both ears were reported clear. No ear infections have been reported since and the child is no longer on antibiotics and will not have surgery. (15)

Bipolar, seizure, sleep disorders and migraine headaches. A 23-year-old man was suffering from bipolar disorder, sleep disorder, seizures, migraine headaches, and neck and back pain following a head-first fall at age 17 while pole vaulting. Evidence of an upper cervical (neck) subluxation was found and corrected with chiropractic adjustments. Autism. A 6-year-old boy was brought to the chiropractor’s office with reduced social interaction, altered behavioral patterns, language deficits and learning difficulties. He was diagnosed with autism by a neurologist. The child was fully vaccinated.

Chiropractic analysis determined the presence of vertebral subluxations in the child. Chiropractic adjustments along with dietary and supplementation recommendations were advised. According to a new study published in the journal Pediatrics nearly $13 billion in health care costs each year could be saved and nearly 1,000 infant deaths could be prevented if more mothers would breastfeed at least six months, beginning immediately after birth.

Why? Because breast milk is nature’s perfect food. It supplies everything the baby needs for optimal brain and body development. Breast milk contains antibodies that protect infants from bacterial and viral infections. More importantly, breast milk contains things necessary for health that have not yet been discovered. Also breastfeeding benefits the child emotionally and helps neurological development. Formula simply does not give a child what he/she needs for optimal growth, development and health. Neuritis, bursitis, neuralgia, rheumatism, frozen shoulder, fibrositis, sprains, strains, “poor circulation” and rotator cuff problems are some of the terms used to describe shoulder, arm and hand conditions.

Don’t blame joint problems on “old age” – you have many other joints (and organs) that are just as old that have no problems.

Whenever there’s a problem, always look for imbalances and interferences preventing the body from functioning and healing. When it comes to the shoulder, arm and hand the nerves that make up the brachial plexus should always be checked for interference caused by subluxations.

Subluxations are distortions in body structure. They can be caused by injuries such as falls, sports mishaps, car accidents, emotional stress, fatigue and sleeping in an awkward position. Even birth stress could cause subluxations that can affect the arms, shoulders and hands.

Which nerves?

Depending on which nerves are damaged there may be muscle weakness, neck pain or stiffness, shoulder, arm, wrist, hand or finger pain. Sometimes there’s numbness, sometimes there’s pain and numbness and sometimes there are odd sensations (“pins and needles”). (1-2)

Many other conditions

Because of the complicated way nerves interrelate, headache; migraine; facial pain; dizziness; limited, painful or stiff motion of the head and neck; throat conditions; thyroid and nasal problems; epilepsy and even lower back pain have been reported as a result of neck or brachial nerve plexus irritation. (3)

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or CTS symptoms include tingling and numbness in the hand, fingers and wrist; pain so intense that it awakens you at night and similar symptoms in the upper arm, elbow, shoulder or neck. “Faulty enervation caused by spinal joint lesions is one of the main factors in the production of wrist swelling, carpal tunnel syndrome, [and] tennis elbow.” (4-5)

The Chiropractic Approach

Chiropractic’s success with shoulder, arm, wrist and hand problems is well documented, (6-10) even though chiropractic is really not a “treatment” for those problems.

Your doctor of chiropractic is specially trained to locate and correct subluxations. Unless corrected, subluxations in your body can cause or contribute to many health conditions and prevent or interfere with the normal healing process.
After your chiropractor has located your subluxations he or she will “adjust” or correct them. This will release structural and nerve pressure and help restore the healthy flow of nerve impulses between your brain and your body parts and help rebalance your system.

Colic, constipation and sleep problems. A two-week-old male baby had excessive crying, abdominal distension, constipation, gas and disrupted sleep. Vertebral subluxations were identified and chiropractic care was applied to reduce vertebral subluxations in the pelvis and lumbar and cervical spine. The child experienced a bowel movement immediately following the first adjustment. Continued care led to regular bowel movements, a decrease in crying and improved sleep. (11)

Lots of people call their chiropractor if they have back, neck, sciatica, arm, leg, headache and other kinds of pain. But chiropractic care can do so much more! Here are a couple of examples of why babies and children need chiropractic care. (Don’t leave them home when you come in for your visit.)

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and chiropractic. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects 2.6% to 11.4% of children. More parents are looking for non-drug approaches to help their children. Can chiropractic help?

In this study four male children were evaluated before and after chiropractic care. All the children showed improvement in ADHD symptoms such as hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattentiveness, as well as behavioral, social or emotional difficulties, under chiropractic care. (10)

Your sciatic nerve is the longest and largest nerve in your body. When such a large nerve becomes inflamed the condition is called sciatica (pronounced si'ad-a'ka) and the pain can be intense! The pain may follow the path of your nerve – down the back of your legs and thighs, down to your ankle, foot and toes – but it can also radiate to your back with burning, pins and needles or tingling. Ugh!

Causes of sciatica can include an unhealthy spine with a protruded or ruptured disc which can irritate the sciatic nerve. Sciatica has been reported following accidents, injuries and childbirth. (1)

The medical approach to sciatica is usually to treat the symptoms with painkillers, muscle relaxers, traction and physical therapy. Relief may be obtained by injecting painkillers directly into the nerve roots! In extreme cases orthopedic surgery may be resorted to.

The chiropractic approach has been a blessing to sciatica and leg pain sufferers for over a hundred years (2-3) often saving them from surgery. (4-6)

All sciatica sufferers should see a doctor of chiropractic to ensure they have a body free from subluxations. A subluxation causes structural distortions, disc and nerve pressure and may stress the entire body and brain! Chiropractors correct or adjust subluxations to relieve stress on the structure, nerves, joints and discs.

If you do have sciatica, from whatever cause, a chiropractic adjustment is needed to remove pressure on your nerves, rebalance your spine and body structure, release stress from your discs and permit your body's muscles, glands and tissues to function in a more balanced manner.

Every sciatica sufferer should visit their neighborhood doctor of chiropractic for a checkup. It could save them from needless drugs, injections and surgery.

Nine-year-old girl with epilepsy: A nine-year-old girl presented at a chiropractic office with uncontrollable blinking of her left eye and fainting spells. She had been diagnosed by a neurologist as suffering from occipital lobe epilepsy.

Chiropractic adjustments were applied to the first cervical (neck) vertebrae on 3 separate occasions and other adjustments were applied to various areas of the spinal column where vertebral subluxations existed. The patient’s uncontrolled eye twitching decreased immediately following the first upper cervical adjustment and ceased completely 3 weeks following the final adjustment. The twitching has not resurfaced in approximately 2 years. (13)

Cluster Headaches: A 47-year-old woman diagnosed with cluster headaches presented at a chiropractic office. She reported that the problem had begun two years prior. She was originally diagnosed with migraine and given drugs that did not help. She had feelings of hopelessness and despair, and thoughts of suicide.

The patient was adjusted 3 times per week with Koren Specific Technique (KST) for the first four weeks and then on an average of once a week for four months. After five months of care her headaches resolved and she was able return to a normal lifestyle. (12)

Chiropractic has become the most popular natural, drugless healing art in the world because of its great success. People with all kinds of health concerns, in all age groups and from all over the world, have discovered the benefits of chiropractic – often after drugs and surgery failed. Before you resort to powerful drugs and surgery, it is prudent to explore more natural, less toxic and safer options (if at all possible). Below are only a fraction of the successes chiropractic has had.

Neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain and cholesterol levels.
A 49-year-old woman with neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, high blood lipids (dyslipidemia) and vertebral subluxations began chiropractic care.

Lipid-lowering statins were prescribed by her medical physician, but, using her own
judgment, she elected not to take them.

After six months of chiropractic care her total cholesterol improved from 221 to 170 mg/dL, her LDL went from 153 to 109 mg/dL and her HDL went from 33 to 38 mg/dL. Arthritis is a disease of the whole body (a systemic disease) that is most dramatically seen in the joints. The word "arthritis" may include more than 100 conditions, many of which were formerly known as "rheumatism."

Osteoarthritis or OA, also known as degenerative joint disease, is the most common arthritis of all; almost everyone over the age of 50 has a touch of it. OA often results from an unbalanced structural system creating stress on the joints so that bone growths ("lipping" and "spurring") try to strengthen the joint by depositing extra bone. (1) Sometimes the growths compress nerves, causing pain and affecting internal organs. (2)

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is the crippler that destroys joints, affects the heart, blood vessels, eyes, skin, muscles and other organs. It often appears suddenly around ages 30 to 40 – then may disappear just as suddenly! No one knows what causes it. Some researchers believe RA is caused by infected root canals or other dental infections.

Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis is similar to adult RA but in over half the cases the disease simply disappears. The rubella vaccine has been discussed as a cause – up to 40% of those vaccinated with rubella suffered joint pain arthralgia, with nearly 2% developing arthritis. (3)

According to one researcher: There now exists a growing theoretical concern which links immunizations to the huge increase of … rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, lupus erythematosus, lymphoma, and leukemia. (4)

Medicine offers no cure for arthritis. Since the underlying cause is unknown, symptom treatment – a lifetime of drugs for the pain and inflammation, heat, hot packs or exercises in warm water and similar treatments – is suggested. If a joint becomes severely deteriorated then surgery may be considered.

The Chiropractic Approach

For over a century arthritic patients have benefited from chiropractic care. (5-7)
Chiropractic care has even reversed osteoarthritis – something previously considered impossible. (8-9)

Chiropractic is a system of healthcare that improves the function of your entire body by removing or releasing blockages called subluxations. Breech baby turns. A 25-year-old woman who was 31 weeks pregnant sought chiropractic care in the hope that she would be able to avoid a cesarean section due to the fetus’ breech presentation, which was confirmed by her Ob/Gyn.
The patient also had low back pain that intensified since her pregnancy.
She was evaluated and found to have sacroiliac subluxations and tension on the uterine ligaments. She was adjusted twice to correct the subluxations and ligament tension.

The baby shifted from the breech position after the first visit and after the second visit, the baby shifted to a normal vertex position. She was able to avoid a cesarean section and have an uncomplicated vaginal delivery. (5)

Brachioradial pruritis (BRP) is a condition characterized by non-stop itching on the top of the forearms (overlying the brachioradialis muscle). Scratching seems to make the itching worse.

In this case a thirty-seven-year old female with a history of brachioradial pruritis began chiropractic care. In addition to the itching, she also had complaints of neck stiffness and vertigo (dizziness). Vertebral subluxations were identified using chiropractic analysis which included palpation, heat scanning and X-ray.

After 2 ½ months of chiropractic care, the symptoms associated with BRP as well as her neck and dizziness had completely resolved. (4)

All people (especially children) need a body free of blockages and stress so they’ll have strong, happy and healthy lives. Below are some clinical cases illustrating the potential of the chiropractic adjustment to correct subluxations.

Night terrors and headaches. A female adolescent with recurring headaches and night terrors (parasomnia) began chiropractic care. The headaches and sleep disturbances were interfering with her school performance and academics, sports and her social life.
Upon examination the chiropractor discovered that she had cervical (neck), thoracic (mid back) and lumbar (lower back) subluxations.

With one month of care her postural abnormalities and associated vertebral (spinal) subluxations were corrected during which time there was a reduction in headaches and complete resolution of night terrors.

Sleep disturbances in children are common and often develop without explanation. To date there are few interventions that can help alleviate these problems. Vertebral subluxation should always be considered when a child is suffering from health issues. (3)

Vaccinations and infant mortality

Death after vaccination has been acknowledged in the medical literature since the 1930s. The US government has officially recognized this and will pay $50,000 if a child dies after vaccination. So far $billions have been paid out.

A recent paper in Human Experimental Toxicology by Neil Z. Miller and Gary S. Goldman revealed the following: "Nations that require more vaccine doses tend to have higher infant mortality rates." (1)

This tragic side of vaccination is acknowledged but rarely studied. Government agencies and pharmaceutical companies simply do not do the necessary research.

Hopefully this eye-opening study will not be ignored and will point the way for badly needed research on the safety of the vaccines most children receive. Sadly, you and millions of other parents and concerned people will not know about this study because it won’t be mentioned on the evening news nor will it be in your local papers.

A 36-year-old woman with fibromyalgia-related symptoms presented for chiropractic care after she had been injured in a motor vehicle accident three days prior.

Parkinson’s Disease and Chiropractic
A 67-year-old woman with symptoms of Parkinson’s disease that included weakness, tremors, scoliosis and rigidity presented to a private chiropractic practice.

Examination revealed an atlas (upper neck) subluxation. Over a period of 6 months, the patient was seen 19 times and received 12 adjustments to her atlas. In addition to improvements in her X-ray findings and spinal muscle balance she reported improvements in Parkinson’s symptoms of weakness, tremors, rigidity and overall mobility. (5)

Birth-induced facial asymmetry
A four-day-old boy had facial asymmetry (distortion of the face) from a difficult birth. He also suffered from constipation, excess saliva and intestinal gas. Upon examination his chiropractor located vertebral and cranial subluxations.

Scoliosis. A 10-year-old female presented to a private chiropractic practice with a chief complaint of migraine headache and a 35° thoracolumbar scoliosis curve.

Chiropractic adjustments were directed to the upper neck (upper cervical) area. The patient received six such adjustments over a period of 11 visits and 25 weeks (the patient did not receive an adjustment at every visit). A 10° reduction in her scoliosis curve was independently assessed. (6)

Otitis media (ear infection), swollen adenoids, nasal congestion, hearing loss and speech difficulties. A 4-year-old boy suffering from otitis media with effusion (middle ear infection), adenoid hypertrophy, nasal congestion, bilateral hearing loss, speech difficulties, developmental delay and behavioral concerns was brought in for chiropractic care. Spinal analysis revealed vertebral subluxations at the upper cervical (neck) and upper thoracic (mid-back) vertebral levels.

There are now many studies showing that PSA screenings are unnecessary and unreliable. Six studies involving 387,000 men who were randomly assigned to either regular screenings or no screenings at all to test the efficacy of PSA screenings were recently reviewed. The researchers found that while PSA tests detected about 20 cancers for every 1,000 men screened, those detections had zero impact on survival rates. Further, those 20 in 1,000 men diagnosed with cancer end up facing incontinence and impotence when they're treated for a disease that never would have hurt them so men typically die with rather than from prostate cancer. Another reason to seek chiropractic care? Chiropractic is good for your brain. In fact, since chiropractic’s discovery the psychotherapeutic (mental health) benefits of chiropractic are well documented. For many years Doctors of Chiropractic founded and operated mental institutions and sanitaria where chiropractic care and natural healing were practiced. A higher cure rate was reported in the chiropractic institutions than that of the state mental hospitals (that used drugs, electric shock therapy and insulin shock therapy). (1)

For years patients have told their chiropractors that they felt “clearer” and more focused when they received chiropractic adjustments. There are clinical studies that have revealed that children concentrate better, have IQ improvement and have better behavior under chiropractic care. (2-3)

A relatively new clinical study has recently been published in the Chiropractic Journal of Australia.

In this study ten subjects between 10 and 62 years of age were adjusted for subluxations. They were tested before and after their adjustments. The majority of the subjects were found to have enhanced scores on the post-test showing a short-term improvement in creativity. It is not known if the improvements were due to less stress, increased blood to the brain or some other mechanism. (4)

A new study finds that using your laptop computer where it was designed to be used (in your lap) can lower your sperm count. Researchers took the temperature in the testes of men working on their laptops. In just 10-15 minutes, the temperature down there rose to levels high enough to damage sperm production. (11)

She was checked and corrected for vertebral subluxations during a 7-month period. During that period she was re-evaluated and exhibited a considerable improvement in her physical, emotional and social well-being.

The researchers employed a Self-Rated Health/Wellness (SRHW) survey that was taken prior to care and at subsequent progress visits that assessed her physical state, emotional/mental state, her stress levels, life enjoyment and her Overall Quality of Life. (8)

Low back pain and urinary urgency. A 24-year-old soldier was suffering from low back pain and urinary urgency (needing to urinate 12-15 times per day). Medication to relieve the problem was unsuccessful. Chiropractic adjustments were applied to sites of vertebral subluxation resulting in an amelioration of the patient’s complaints. (9)

Pervasive developmental disorder. A three-year-old boy, who was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder by a pediatrician, had communication problems, apraxia and speech delay. The child received chiropractic care over the course of 5 months to his upper cervical (neck) and sacral regions.

The outcomes were measured by re-assessments, parental evaluation and health care provider and teacher reports. The child began making friends, became more interactive and less defiant and was reported to be an overall happier child following the introduction of chiropractic care. (10)

This is coming from the MMWR which is the U.S. government’s own publication. We've always known that vaccinated kids can contract measles. There are numerous reports in the medical journals of epidemics in fully vaccinated populations. Here is just one from Illinois in which 17 high school students who were fully vaccinated came down with measles even though 99% of the high school population was vaccinated with the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine. More than a quarter of U.S. kids and teens are taking a medication on a chronic basis, according to Medco Health Solutions Inc., the biggest U.S. pharmacy-benefit manager with around 65 million members. Nearly 7% are on two or more such drugs, based on the company's database figures for 2009. (6)

A Norwegian study reveals that one-third of patients seek chiropractic care as first choice for pain during pregnancy.

The study interviewed the first 100 pregnant women presenting at a chiropractic clinic. The interview included reasons for visiting the clinic, average weeks of pain, where they were in pain and the number of chiropractic visits. The study found that 90% of the patients’ chief complaint was pelvic pain and for 30% of the patients chiropractic was their first choice for care.

Those who had never had back pain before waited the shortest time before seeking care. The authors also found that the longer the patients waited to seek chiropractic care the more areas of pain they experienced and the more areas of the spine needed adjusting. (5)

What Puts the 'Ache' in Headache?

The ache in headache does not come from your brain—your brain cannot feel pain. During brain surgery a patient is often wide awake feeling nothing, even talking to the surgeons and nurses while his/her brain is being operated on (a local anesthetic numbs the scalp). So what puts the "ache" in headache? It's the non-brain structures: blood vessels, membranes and cranial nerves in the brain and skull. When these structures are stretched, compressed, irritated, inflamed or infected headaches often result.

The Chiropractic Approach

Why have millions of headache sufferers turned to the natural, drug-free chiropractic approach to health? (1)

That's because chiropractic has a unique healing approach—chiropractors are the only health professionals trained to analyze your body for a serious and often ignored condition that can damage your nerves, inflame your tissues, cause muscles to tighten and knot, weaken your body, cause fatigue and set the stage for sickness and disease. This condition is called the subluxation.

Just as you may have a cavity in your tooth and be unaware of the damage it's causing, so a subluxation may be causing serious harm to your body—sometimes for years—without your knowledge.

The Chiropractic Checkup

If you have a subluxation we will give you a safe, gentle adjustment to correct the subluxation, thus removing nerve pressure and structural distortions.

Why Does Chiropractic Work So Well?

One study of 6,000 long-term headache sufferers (two to 25 years) revealed that neck injury (whiplash, falls) was the most important factor in the cause of the headache and should be suspected in every nonspecific case of headache. (2)

Subluxation correction has powerful effects. In a randomized controlled trial performed at the University of Odense, Denmark, those under chiropractic care decreased their use of painkillers by 36% and the number of headache hours per day decreased by 69%. (3)

Headaches affect children too. For example, a 10-year-old girl with chronic, severe migraine (6 times a week for the past 3 years) was unable to go to school due to the severity of her condition. Neurologists could not help her. A chiropractic examination revealed a subluxation in her upper neck. After her third adjustment she was off her pain medications and by the third week she was back in school, had started dance classes for the first time in 2 years, "and actually began to smile again. She was leading a normal and healthy life for a child her age by the end of the 5th visit." (4)

Not A Headache Therapy

For over a hundred years headache and migraine sufferers have turned to chiropractic for help, and yet chiropractic is not a headache therapy or treatment. Chiropractic's role is not to treat any specific disease, but to care for the person who has the condition by ensuring that their entire body functions better by correcting their subluxations.

Anyone suffering from headaches (and any other condition) should make sure the nervous system and structural system is free from subluxations—for the health of their whole body, not just certain parts.

For over a century, chiropractic care has helped young and old maintain and regain health. Although erroneously thought of as a back or neck pain treatment, chiropractic is really a holistic natural healthcare system that can help all people, no matter what illness they have, since everyone needs a healthy spine, structural system and nervous system.

Constipation, neck pain, GI pain. A mother brought her 6-year-old daughter in for chiropractic care. The girl suffered from constipation, neck pain and gastrointestinal pain. After care, mother and patient reported bowel movements improving from once every 4-5 days to bowel movements every day along with resolution of gastrointestinal and neck pain.

The chiropractor addressed the child’s subluxations, applying chiropractic adjustments. (13)

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and chiropractic. Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects as many as 11.4% of children. More parents are looking for non-drug approaches to help their children. Can chiropractic help?
In one study, four male children were evaluated before and after chiropractic care. All the children showed improvement in ADHD symptoms (i.e., hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattentiveness, as well as behavioral, social or emotional difficulties) under chiropractic care. (14)

For decades chiropractors have warned people against back surgery. It has an incredibly high failure fate. One of the worst things is that the surgery can result in more pain so the patient has to have more surgery – and is never pain free again.
